Policies and terms

Clear expectations protect both the client and the work.

This plain-language summary explains the current service principles. The written quotation and accepted scope govern each engagement.

Privacy notice

Information supplied through an enquiry is used to assess, quote, communicate about and administer the requested service. Only information reasonably necessary for those purposes should be provided. Clients may request access, correction or deletion by emailing tidonxele@gmail.com.

Quotation enquiries are stored in the website's protected business database and are accessible only through the authorised administration area. The patron and business owner receive transactional SMS confirmations through the appointed messaging provider. These messages are limited to information needed to confirm and administer the enquiry. Clients should not paste confidential research data into the enquiry form.

Contact details and enquiry records are retained only for the engagement and reasonable administrative, legal or record-keeping needs. No client document is sold or used for unrelated marketing.

Confidentiality and document transfer

Client documents are treated as confidential. Optional uploads are used only to assess the requested service and prepare an accurate quotation. Clients should identify special security requirements before transferring files. Access is limited to what is necessary to assess or deliver the agreed work.

AI-use policy

Client work will not be uploaded to a generative AI service for substantive processing without the client's knowledge and consent. Where an AI-enabled tool is proposed for a limited purpose, the purpose, information exposure and available opt-out will be explained. Human editorial judgement remains central to the service.

Engagement, payment and cancellation

Work begins after written acceptance of the quotation, scope, schedule and payment requirements. A deposit or advance payment may be required. Urgent work, complex formatting, unusual referencing or material outside the agreed scope may attract an additional fee, confirmed before proceeding.

If a client cancels after work begins, payment remains due for work completed and committed capacity. Revision support is limited to the agreed scope and period. New content or changed requirements may require a revised quotation.

Academic integrity and limitations

The service does not fabricate evidence, analyse data without an agreed research scope, complete assessed work on behalf of a student, conceal plagiarism or guarantee examination, acceptance, funding or publication. Clients remain responsible for factual accuracy, ethical compliance, authorship and final submission decisions.

Academic Research Support is a trading division of Ndala Estates (Pty) Ltd. These terms are a practical service summary and should not be interpreted as legal advice. A formal client agreement may supplement them for larger or institutional engagements.
